Role Summary
As a hotel housekeeper, your primary responsibility will be to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in guest rooms. This involves cleaning different areas of the room, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, disposing of trash, restocking room supplies and ensuring new toiletries provided by the hotel are placed at appropriate places.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Make beds, swap out the bedding, and provide fresh toiletries, soap, shampoo and towels.
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Vacuum and dust area rugs, drapes, upholstered furniture, and carpets.
• Ensure daily housekeeping services as per guests requests including providing extra supplies
• Fill areas for supplies and linen closets.
• Clean, disinfect and polish table, TV, coffee makers, AC, bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as storage or changing rooms, public washroom, Vending machine and elevators
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings,
• Report and store lost and found items
• Reporting any safety hazards to the homeowner or manager in charge.
Job Qualifications & Experience
• No special educational requirements exist for this position. High school is preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience a plus
• Working knowledge of housekeeping.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
