Job Description

Bear Country Property Management is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor. We are located at Sun Peaks Ski Resort, British Columbia. This role is a combination of management, leadership, and general housekeeping duties. All properties rooms are clean and maintained at the highest level of standards.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Oversee staff daily.
• Inspect rooms and properties for cleanliness.
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in case of absence after approval from housekeeping manager.
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards.
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job.
• Respond to customer complaints and special requests.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.
• Routinely perform all housekeeping duties necessary including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning guest suites to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Deliver exceptional Guest service and address guest concerns and/or complaints.
• Provide an exemplary example for all team members professionalism, appearance, and work ethic.
• Adhere to and contribute to the safety and security of all buildings, company assets, co-workers and guests including guest belongings.
• Report and prepare documents for any identified or known safety hazards, conditions, injuries and/or unsafe practices and procedures. Follow WorkSafe protocols.

• Ability to commute/relocate: Sun Peaks, BC
• We offer training for the right candidate.
• Housekeeping Experience: 1 year
• Language: English
• License/Certification: Valid BC Drivers License
• Education: High School Diploma
