Prestige Hotels & Resorts’ Corporate Office in downtown Kelowna is looking for a Human Resources Intern for the 2026 summer season, beginning in May until August (4 months).

We are also open to the right candidate starting earlier than May on a part-time basis and then moving to full-time in May.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities

– Compiles lists of candidates from all recruitment sources
– Aids in the search for new recruitment opportunities and promotion of Prestige as an employer
– Identifies top candidates for the next stage of selection
– Pre-interviews candidates and attains more/missing information from them before scheduling them for interviews
– Interviews candidates to ensure they are a good fit for the organization
– Calls reference checks and evaluates the reference
– Coordinates the posting of job ads across all recruitment platforms
– Provides suggestions for enhancement and admin support for other areas of human resources (e.g., onboarding and training, health & safety, and policies and procedures manuals)
– Performs other human resources duties as required
