Job Description

Eleven Revelstoke Lodge is seeking energetic and guest service-oriented lodge staff to join the team. This role is responsible for a variety of duties based around guest service, light lodge maintenance and housekeeping. The lodge staff will work closely with the Experience Managers to provide a high-quality guest experience, including some admin and front desk support. This position requires 1+ years of experience working in hospitality along with the ability to work well in a team and adapt to an ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time, seasonal position starting at $21.50 CAD, plus 4% vacation pay, benefits, tip pool, pro deals, and discounts. The summer season runs June through September.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Position Purpose

The Lodge Staff position is a versatile role that combines guest-facing duties with behind-the-scenes support, embodying the Eleven standard. Responsibilities include assisting with guest logistics, breakfast shifts in the Quartermaster Eatery, evening room turn-downs, and occasional bartending, as well as tasks like cleaning or driving as needed.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

Greet and interact with guests throughout the hotel.
Serve a la carte breakfast
take orders
serve food and drinks
clear tables
breakfast clean-up and restock, incl. washing dishes etc.
Work with the Experience, housekeeping, and restaurant team, where needed, to prepare property for guest return and/or arrival.
Perform turndown service
light housekeeping
resetting of the room for the return of the guest after dinner
vibe creation
Transportation:
Provide local and airport transportation for guests
Clean and detail company vehicles
Daily duties:
Assist with general errands (i.e. grocery shopping, special guest requests, etc.).
Shut down of wellness and common areas
Front Desk Support:
Assist ET with Front Desk duties
Light administrative support where needed
Any other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications

BC Serving It Right
Driver’s license and ability to be insured to transport guests.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Special Position Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality/guest-facing environments
Previous serving experience preferred
Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends Preferences
Flexible, especially with schedule and daily tasks.
Adaptable, personable, proactive and organized.
Quick and confident problem solving skills.
Knowledge of the Revelstoke area.
Works well with a team with diverse personalities.
Enjoys working in a fast-paced, demanding atmosphere.
Previous food & beverage experience.
Good communication skills.
