The Prep Cook – Dishwasher supports the operations of the culinary team by assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, health and safety, sanitation, and food storage. The environment is bustling with unique kitchens within the property provide complete food and beverage services to our local, hotel and business guests. Responsibilities & Qualifications

Physical Requirement:

Physical Class: Heavy (H) Work activities involve handling loads more than 20 kg

Accountabilities:

Responsible for washing and storage of all F&B service wares and utensils
Perform regularly scheduled daily/weekly/monthly cleaning
Participates in food preparation and maintenance of storage areas
Responsible for the delivery of culinary and kitchen supplies
Assists in the rotation of food items and supplies
Ensures the highest standards of sanitation are met throughout the kitchen by following departmental standards
Ideal Candidate:

Previous culinary experience/education while an asset is not required
Works effectively within a team and recognizes when to provide support to other kitchen team members
Is self-disciplined and motivated with a sincere desire to provide an elevated guest experience
Self-starts on tasks and can respond to varying business volumes as they relate to impacts on the kitchen
Is physically capable of working in a fast-paced environment and safely lifting heavy loads of around 20kg
Is physically capable of working on their feet for prolonged periods
