Job Description

21 Century Food Ltd. is seeking a F/T Restaurant Manager.

Position:

Full-time, Permanent

Start date:
ASAP

Wage:
$37.00/hour

Benefits:
・4% vacation pay
・Dental coverage (after six months of full-time employment)

Hours:
30 ~ 40hours per week

Work Location:
Your primary location will be:
– Edokko Nigiri Sushi: #120-3679 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC V7C 5V2
You may be required to work at/supervise another location(secondary location):
– Takeya Sushi: #17-8671 No.1 Road, Richmond, BC, V7C1V2, depending on needs

*These two locations are commutable with a travel time of 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bus or bicycle, and 30 minutes on foot.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Job requirements:
・3 years or more experience in food preparation and/or food service
・Some supervisory experience in a restaurant
・Strong interpersonal skill
・Numeracy and problem-solving skills
・Japanese food knowledge

Educational Requirements:
Completion of high school

Language Requirements:
English

Job Duties:
– Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant
– Determine menu and other services to be offered and implement operational procedures
– Recruit staff and oversee staff training
– Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
– Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
– Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
– Negotiate arrangements with suppliers
