Job Description

Liquid Lifestyles is hiring full-time Whitewater Rafting & Kayaking Operations Managers for the 2026 season.

We operate out of Clearwater BC and run trips on the Thompson River and the Clearwater River in Wells Gray Provincial Park. We use a variety of rafts; Oar frame rafts, Cat rafts, and paddle rafts and run every type of trip from a family-friendly float to one-on-one guided kayak trips through Class IV rapids.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:
-Manages all river staff including, Rafting Guides, Kayak Instructors, Junior Guides, Shuttle Drivers and Photographers/ Guest Services
-Preventative & reparative maintenance of all equipment and gear
-Guides Training and Trip Development programs
-Liaising with guests/clients, ensuring operating and industry standards are met
-Ensures all access and egress points on operational rivers are maintained and developed
-Ensures that all OH&S legislation and regulations are being adhered to as per our Risk Management and Emergency Response Program

Certifications:
-Senior or Trip Leader Guide License
-Swiftwater Rescue Technician (SRT 1)
-Wilderness First Aid – 50 hr (80 hr Preferred)
-Class IV Drivers License
-5 Years of Whitewater Guiding Experience (Rafting or Kayaking)
-Class IV Whitewater Kayaking or Rafting Experience
-Level 2 Kayak Instructor Leader / Instructor – Canoe and Kayak Canada (or Equivalent)
-Advanced River Kayak Instructor (Not required but an asset)

Qualities:
-Excellent communication and organizational abilities
-Strong Technical river knowledge and skills
-Proven leadership and supervisory/management skills
-Friendly and engaging customer service focus

Salary/Wage

30-$37/hour
