Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge in Smithers, BC is looking for part-time and full-time Room Attendants (also known as Housekeepers).

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities

– Reports to work in required uniform and in adherence with Prestige policy
– Greets guests with a smile and in a warm and courteous manner
– Responds to guest requests promptly
– Provides courteous guest service
– Performs cleaning procedures daily in guest rooms and public areas according to Prestige standards
– Works as a team player
– Becomes familiar with various room types
– Handles lost and found items
– Maintains security measures
– Restocks housekeeping carts daily with supplies
– Maintains equipment
– Observes and reports any repairs needed
– Performs other duties as required or assigned by the Supervisor or General Manager

What does an ideal candidate look like?

– Must like to have fun at work!
– A positive team player attitude and a strong willingness to learn
– Must have availability on weekends and holidays
– Prior housekeeping experience is an asset but NOT required
– Neat and tidy appearance as this position deals with the public
– Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
