Job Description

Kumsheen is looking for a Shaw Springs Campground Attendant for the 2026 Season to join our team of energetic, adventurous, and friendly staff. This is a great opportunity to work & live in one of the most beautiful areas in BC.

About the position:
The Shaw Springs Attendant will work under direction of the General Manager and the Maintenance Manager. These team members will regularly check in with the Guest Experience Team for information regarding guest requirements at Shaw Springs.
This position will ensure the Shaw Springs property, grounds, sites, and public areas, are clean, groomed and presented in an exceptional manner. In addition to keeping the campground orderly and clean, they are also responsible for ensuring guests staying at Shaw Springs are checked into their sites, creating reservations for drop-ins, and answering any guests questions as needed.
The Shaw Springs Campground Attendant must be friendly, approachable, and able to address problems and special requests. They must be outgoing self-motivators who like working outside and meeting new people.

*Note: this position is based out of Shaw Springs, located about 20min drive from Kumsheen Rafting Resort*

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key responsibilities include:
– General cleaning of washrooms and other common areas
– Clean and maintain campsites and RV sites
– Maintaining the garbage and recycling areas, including collection, sorting and returns
– Basic landscaping duties including raking, pruning, and lawn maintenance
– Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure nothing is out of place or malfunctioning and assisting with property maintenance as required
– Complete campground host duties such as check-in with new guests, answer basic questions, ensure all drop in guests have paid, etc.
– Communicate any changes in reservations and additional guest needs with the Guest Experience Team

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:
– Self-motivated
– Excellent communication skills
– Capable of working independently
– Organized, with the ability to prioritize and carry out many tasks simultaneously
– Punctual and reliable
– Maintenance or security experience is an asset
– Drivers License is required
– Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early morning shifts and evening shifts

Salary/Wage

18.25-23.00 per hour
