Job Description

As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key leadership role in our kitchen—supporting the Head Chef in daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food quality, and helping shape menus that reflect seasonal, locally inspired ingredients. You’ll also be instrumental in banquet planning and execution, particularly during our busy winter season.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Collaborate with the Head Chef in planning and executing daily menus for guests and staff.

Take charge of the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring consistency and quality.

Help lead a small, passionate culinary team with professionalism and a hands-on approach.

Oversee banquet prep and service for CMH Heli-Skiing guests and seasonal events.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times.

Assist with inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.

Train junior staff and support a positive kitchen culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous learning.
