About the Role
Orca Spirit Adventures – Victoria’s original whale watching company – is looking for an energetic, people-focused Tour Sales & Guest Experience Agent to join our front desk team. This is a guest-facing role at the heart of our operation, where you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors from around the world coming to experience the Salish Sea.
No prior knowledge of our booking systems or industry-specific software is required – we’ll train you on everything you need to hit the ground running.
What You’ll Do

Welcome and check in guests for their tours, ensuring departures run smoothly
Promote and sell whale watching tours and packages, using your knowledge of vessel types, departure times, and pricing
Handle phone calls, online bookings, and reservation management
Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely
Support retail operations at Oceans Edge Gift Gallery, including product sales, inventory, and merchandising
Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment across office and common areas

What We’re Looking For

Proven ability to thrive in a sales environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Previous tourism or office administration experience is an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills

Schedule

Availability to work weekends and holidays is required
Flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
Vacation requests should not conflict with peak season operations (April through October)
