2024 has kick off with high energy and enthusiasm at go2HR. Our Team has worked hard to create new supports for tourism and hospitality businesses to leverage this year. Like you, we are optimistically preparing for the anticipated full return of our robust industry. Our efforts reflect our dedication to advancing workplace safety, progressive people practices, EDI, and health and wellness. We recognize the continuing challenges that the industry faces and these tools and services are here when you need it. Here a recap of some new things at go2HR:

More Training

Answering the call for Equity, Diversity and Inclusive (EDI) training, we are proud to offer a new, online, self-directed Introduction to EDI for Tourism & Hospitality. Connect with our training team to learn more about bulk discounts and seamless administration for staff training.

For tourism & hospitality operators with a staff of more than 20, we have just launched Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee (JOSHC) training course which meets WorkSafe BC’s regulatory training requirements for all new JOHSC members.

We continue to augment and enhance our training offerings – later this year, look for a new worker health & safety orientation course as well as cultural competency training, both online, self-directed.

More Resources

To reflect our ongoing commitment to EDI in the industry, we grew our EDI resource HUB with more than 200 resources grouped around 6 themes: General EDI, Accessibility, Anti-racism, Gender Equity, Indigenous and LGBTQ2S+. We’ve also expanded our online content on psychological health & safety in our ongoing partnership with CMHA BC. Be sure to have a look.
