As the Cleaner Lead Hand, you’ll be a key leader on our Cleaning Team, working side-by-side with our Cleaning Supervisor to keep the entire gondola experience sparkling. Our Cleaning Team is essential to delivering safe, welcoming, and unforgettable visits. You’ll champion cleanliness standards, guide and support team members, manage inventory across both Base and Summit locations, and lead with positivity and pride. This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences, and the drive to keep our spaces looking their best.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Oversee, with support from the Supervisor, the cleaning of all operational areas including washrooms, floors, tables, offices, and common spaces
Conduct regular walk‑throughs to assess cleanliness and ensure standards are met
Assist Team Members with bussing, cleaning, and other tasks as needed
Engage positively with Guests by answering questions and offering friendly conversation
Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, ensuring walkways and patios are swept regularly
Ensure interior and exterior garbage and recycling bins are emptied frequently and kept clean to minimize wildlife attractants
Train, coach, and supervise Cleaning Team Members to ensure consistent standards and strong performance
Support sustainability efforts by following recycling and composting procedures
Complete ordering and inventory counts for all day-cleaning supplies and materials
Communicate regularly with Food & Beverage supervisors and management regarding cleanliness needs and operational updates
Required Skills and Experience
Physically fit with the ability to perform physical tasks for 8–10 hours
Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
Safety‑oriented with a commitment to following all WorkSafeBC procedures
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
Strong communication skills and a positive, guest‑focused attitude
Criminal Record Check required
