About the Role

As the Content Creator, you’ll play a vital role in amplifying go2HR’s mission through content creation, social media management, website updates, and customer engagement.

You will be responsible for planning, producing, and managing engaging content across multiple platforms to inspire tourism and hospitality businesses to build strong human resources and health & safety cultures that support successful business performance.

This role focuses on creating high-value content that resonates with our target audience, builds trust, and positions go2HR as an industry thought leader.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized team player with strong writing, visual storytelling, and social media skills. You enjoy learning from others, thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, and are comfortable working with multiple departments to support the development and execution of new digital content.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging digital content for newsletters, websites, and e-blasts aimed at addressing key audience needs and providing solution-driven resources.
  • Create and manage compelling social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, while analyzing metrics to optimize performance.
  • Manage the go2HR Google Ads account.
  • Support website and CRM updates by collaborating with departments to monitor, create, and update content.
  • Assist internal teams with communication initiatives and training efforts.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop content strategies that elevate the go2HR brand and expand reach.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
  • Provide customer service and administrative support, including responding to general emails, assisting with job board inquiries, preparing reports and presentations, coordinating meeting logistics, maintaining records, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in content development, social media management, or digital marketing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven success creating impactful digital content and managing effective social media channels.
  • Technical proficiency in tools such as HubSpot, WordPress, and graphic design software.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content development.
  • Experience using and interpreting analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience with video content creation and basic video editing tools is considered an asset.

Salary/Wage

$50,000–$60,000, depending on experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, temporary 12-month maternity leave hybrid role, with 2 days per week at go2HR’s head office in downtown Vancouver. Candidates must reside in the Vancouver area.
