TurF located at #101- 2041 W 4th Avenue, BCV6J 1N3 is looking to fill in the position of Food Service Supervisor to work along with our Kitchen Manager.
Job Title: : Food Service Supervisor
Location of work: Your primary location of work will be the Commissary kitchen located at 1605 W, 5th Avenue, Vancouver, V6J 1N5. You will be required to travel to the studio and bistro location at #101, 2041 W 4th Avenue,Vancouver, BCV6J 1N3 , depending on tasks assigned
Salary- $21/hour
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours- 40 hours/week. Days depending on schedule assigned. Applicant may be required to work Saturday and/or Sunday per schedule.

Job duties for this position include:
Oversee day to day operations of kitchen;
Schedule, supervise and co-ordinate the activities of the food service staff in food preparation, portions and service standards;
Establish methods to meet work schedules;
Resolve customer complaints as well as conflicts among staff and ensure maximum customer satisfaction;
Supervise staff duties which include delegation, scheduling, evaluating, interviewing, training and mentoring responsibilities;
Train staff in job sanitation and safety procedures;
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
Maintain records of an inventory, sales and wastage;
Ensure that all kitchen equipment and gadgets are in safe and working condition and take care of maintenance and repair of equipment;
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;
Maintain a safe and clean kitchen and safe areas in compliance with food safety regulations;
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Job Requirements:
– 1 years or more of experience in food services industry is required;
– Good communication skills, positive attitude to work and people management skills;
– Ideal applicant must be available to work on any scheduled, rotational or call in shifts which includes weekends, early morning and late evening shifts
;- Able to work under pressure and time constraint in fast paced environment;
– Candidate must have completed food safety course
