The Northern Rockies Lodge is looking for seasonal as well as long-term Front Desk Agents.

Who we are: The Northern Rockies Lodge with its 21 rooms and 21 cabins is the largest hotel in the remote Muncho Lake/Liard River Hot Springs and Toad River region in Northern British Columbia. The Lodge is directly situated at the Alaska Highway and surrounded by the stunning Northern Rocky Mountains. Besides the regular hotel service, we also operate an RV park. Our floatplane operation takes guests to our backcountry outpost cabins, on flight adventure tours and guided fly-in fishing adventures.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:
• Operate the front desk, including gas station and giftshop with minimal supervision
• Operate POS and taking payment
• check in and check out guests, operate PMS
• Answer phones, reply to email inquiries, making, changing, and cancelling reservation
• General office duties including filing and billing
• Restock gift shop and brochures
• Keep lobby, back office, and front desk area clean and tidy (dusting, cleaning windows, etc.)
• Flight following
• General restaurant duties including serving and dishwashing
• Assisting in other departments

Requirements:
• Excellent command of English in writing and speaking
• Good customer service skills
• Willing to work evenings & weekends, and help in other departments (i.e. restaurant)
• Strong computer skills
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
