The Northern Rockies Lodge is looking for seasonal as well as long-term housekeepers.

Who we are: The Northern Rockies Lodge with its 21 rooms and 21 cabins is the largest hotel in the remote Muncho Lake/Liard River Hot Springs and Toad River region in Northern British Columbia. The Lodge is directly situated at the Alaska Highway and surrounded by the stunning Northern Rocky Mountains. Besides the regular hotel service, we also operate an RV park. Our floatplane operation takes guests to our backcountry outpost cabins, on flight adventure tours and guided fly-in fishing adventures.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities
• Clean and make up rooms and cabins to our high cleanliness standard
• Clean restaurant, common areas and public laundry and laundry room
• Keep up consistency, make sure all rooms and cabins are cleaned as expected
• Maintain and clean campground and public washrooms
• Keep property and buildings tidy
• Laundry duties
• Note discrepancies and damage in rooms and notify maintenance personnel
• Communicate with front desk in early check-ins and late check-outs and inform of room closures
• Maintaining hygienic, clean, and safe workplace

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a housekeeper
• Must be in good physical condition to meet the physical challenges of the position (climb and descend stairs carrying 40lbs)
• Must be able to work with minimum of supervision
• High attention to detail
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
