About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Seasonal Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations, supports room attendants, and ensures that all guest areas meet the highest cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff during daily operations.
Create, manage, and adjust staff schedules to meet occupancy needs and budget guidelines.
Approve and verify employee hours, ensuring accuracy before submission to payroll.
Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
Ensure all cleaning procedures and standards are consistently followed.
Assist in inventory control of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Address guest requests, concerns, or issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety protocols.
Provide coaching and performance feedback to staff as needed.
Assist with cleaning rooms and common areas when needed.
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience (hotel/resort experience an asset).
Previous experience working with swing machines, carpet cleaners, and steamers
Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
Conditions of Employment:
Must be able to bend, crouch, lift, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods. The ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required. The nature of a 24/7 industry calls upon the Housekeeping Supervisor to cover a range of shifts, including, but not limited to, regular evening and weekend work and holidays. This position is subject to obtaining a Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) tag. Applicants must be at least 19 years old to work in the casino.
