O’Rourke Family Estate (OFE) is a 300-acre property with panoramic views of surrounding orchards, vineyards, rolling mountains, and the glistening water of Okanagan Lake. Inspired by Europe’s most famous wineries, the property features 110 acres of vines, 300 meters of winding tunnels, and 12,000 square feet of cave space to store and age wines. In addition to OFE, the O’Rourke portfolio includes Peak Cellars. Located on a 7-acre property in Lake Country, and is home to our Goldie Road Vineyard. Wine isn’t the only thing the property produces; the half-acre organic vegetable garden and two greenhouses supply the highest quality fruits and vegetables for the Garden Bistro.

Role Scope: We are seeking a Landscaper to join our team and help maintain the beauty and productivity of our grounds. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is excited to contribute to a vibrant hospitality and culinary-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns by mowing, trimming, and edging
• Prune and care for trees, shrubs, and perennials
• Weed, mulch, and maintain garden beds and pathways
• Assist with planting, soil preparation, and transplanting both ornamental and vegetable gardens
• Operate landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and small machinery
• Water and fertilize as needed, including hanging baskets and planters
• General Grounds Maintenance
• Follow all safety protocols and best practices

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Previous landscaping or horticulture experience is an asset
• Ability to work independently and take direction
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Salary/Wage

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
