Job Description

The main responsibilities of the Night Auditor is to verify daily revenues, balance daily receipts and prepare a daily revenue summary on behalf of the Front Office and Finance departments.
Auditing, balancing, and verifying daily revenue documents
Managing the hotel’s inventory of reservations, room assignments and vacancies
Greeting guests, checking them into rooms, assisting with check-outs, and providing guests with important information
Answering phones, scheduling wake-up calls, and assisting with reservation requests
Responding to guest inquires, complaints and concerns
Familiarity with Guest Services operations & upselling techniques
Strong customer service-oriented focus and approach
Is comfortable dealing with Emergency procedures
Can stand for long periods of time
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Agile, motivated individual with positive outlook

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Previous experience in the hospitality industry as a night auditor or front office agent
First Aid training or willing to be trained
Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft office and worked with Property Management Systems
Professional presentation and grooming
Highly effective Communication skills with 100% fluency in English – speaking and understanding
Basic computer skills coupled with mathematical abilities
Can work in a team environment
Ability to contribute to a positive environment for others
Ability to function well in a multitasking, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to “think outside the box”
Is aware of their surroundings and security conscious
Valid BC Driver’s licence and clean Driver’s Abstract
Must be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs
Can work Full Time Hours
