Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge in Smithers, BC is looking for a part-time Maintenance Assistant / Housekeeper.

A Maintenance Helper/Housekeeper provides a great experience for our guests by ensuring guest rooms and public areas are properly presented in addition to some light maintenance work.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities:

– Light maintenance and other duties including paint touch ups and repairs
– Light landscaping and cleanliness of outdoor areas including snow removal
– Assist maintenance attendant with maintenance and improvements of hotel p
– Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning and laundry
– Assist guests with luggage

What does an ideal candidate look like?

– Must have some light maintenance experience
– A positive team player attitude and a strong willingness to learn
– Must be able to communicate in English, understanding both oral and written instructions
– Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
– Neat and tidy appearance as this position deals with the public
– Able to handle heavy loads
– Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
