Job Description

Location: Downtown Vancouver (In-Person)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm with occasional weekend shifts during peak periods or as needed to support business operations. Flexible arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
Term: March 1, 2026 – October 1, 2026. Continuation may be considered based on performance and business demand.
Compensation: $23 – $25 per hour

Discover Canada Tours – a family-owned, Canadian, and preferred tour operator for World Cup 2026 by Destination British Columbia – is hiring a business-oriented and charismatic Sales & Partnerships Coordinator to promote and sell unforgettable local and regional travel experiences, as well as to maintain and strengthen our relationships with industry partners and collaborators.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

As a Sales & Partnerships Coordinator, your responsibilities include:

Primary Focus: DVT
Domestic Sales & B2B Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, concierge teams, travel agencies, tour operators, and other B2B partners.
Drive domestic sales for Discover Vancouver Tours and other DCT products.
Promote and sell tours, converting leads into bookings using FareHarbor, Ventrata, HubSpot CRM, and other company systems.
Network with, train, and support partner organizations on booking systems, commission structures, incentives, and sales opportunities.
Sponsor and support partner events, including delivering commission cheques, attending networking events, and facilitating sales promotions.
Provide occasional on-site support at Canada Place departures and DCT retail booths, assisting with bookings, customer engagement, and operational coverage.
Customer Support & Phone Line Management
Monitor the Discover Vancouver Tours phone line, responding to customer inquiries, assisting with bookings, and providing timely support.
Escalate complex issues to the Domestic & Inside Sales Manager as needed.
Secondary Focus: West Trek
Account Support & Sales
Develop and maintain relationships with Vancouver-based West Trek accounts, including ESL schools, universities, colleges, hostels, and youth travel resellers.
Deliver presentations, product promotions, and walking tours at partner locations.
Facilitate bookings and collaborate with the West Trek team to optimize revenue opportunities.
Support local events, sponsorships, and ambassador programs to strengthen West Trek brand visibility and engagement.
Sales Execution & Technology Utilization
Track, manage, and maintain accounts, leads, and bookings across company sales systems and CRMs.
Report on performance metrics, conversion rates, partner engagement, and sales activity.
Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Operations, and Product teams to ensure optimized scheduling, system integration, and accurate account management.
Marketing, Promotions & Brand Representation
Collaborate with Marketing to provide partners with product updates, promotional materials, and campaign support.
Represent the company at local networking events, trade shows, and promotional initiatives.
Support content creation and brand storytelling efforts to enhance partner engagement.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with the DCT Domestic & Inside Sales Manager and West Trek Division Lead to ensure cross-division alignment.
Mentor and support seasonal booth staff and other team members as needed.
Act as a gatekeeper for incoming inquiries, directing leads to the appropriate departments to maximize conversion.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide front desk support, including phone, walk-in, and email sales and customer service inquiries.
Serve as secondary support for DCT sales booths, including lunch coverage, restocking, and on-site support visits.
Support international B2B resellers with DCT and Experience Enhancement (EE) products, including inquiries, bookings, and account guidance.
Assist with West Trek–related activities and events, including on-site support, event setup, promotions, and partner engagement.
Attend tours, site visits, and events to maintain product knowledge and deliver informed sales support.
Participate in the planning and execution of office and client-facing events.
Monitor competitor products, pricing, and promotions to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities/

Role Characteristics:

Primary Focus: Outside B2B sales, relationship-building, and conversion for DVT day tours during peak periods.
Secondary Focus: Supporting West Trek initiatives, including revenue growth and student travel programs, with responsibilities shifting seasonally to align with divisional peaks.
Work Style: Primarily field-based and out-of-office, with occasional in-office or retail support.
Key Tools: FareHarbour, HubSpot CRM, WeTravel, Gmail & The Drive, and other internal systems.
Reporting Structure: Dual reporting to the DCT Domestic & Inside Sales Manager and the West Trek Division Lead.

Here are The Must-Have Qualifications:

Legally eligible to work in Canada
Strong English language skills, both oral and written
0.5 to 2 years of prior experience in sales or customer service, preferably in Tourism, Hospitality, Events, Customer Service, Front Desk Operations, or Entertainment
Leadership and mentoring experience.
Comfortable managing multiple channels of communication simultaneously.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
Basic technical skills for managing bookings, emails, messaging apps, and in-office multimedia systems.
