Becoming a Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) certified business is straightforward with go2HR’s seven-step process. This guide walks BC small businesses through registration, identifying a workplace safety champion, completing SECOR Internal Auditor Training, and developing a compliant safety management system. It covers how to submit your Notice of Audit Activity, complete and submit the SECOR Audit Tool and scorecard, and achieve certification. Successful participants may qualify for a WorkSafeBC financial incentive, making SECOR a valuable investment for improving workplace safety while reducing costs.
